The Dancing Rabbit Ranch is an intentional community based on ecological covenants. Residents make decisions through consensus and work cyclically. They are committed to green living and have planted over 12,000 trees. Almost all meals are eaten together and the residents generate their own entertainment.
Some of the people that live in the community work on a part-time basis for the village nonprofits or in telecommuting jobs. Members also pay super-low monthly rent to the land trust.
Despite its quaint, rural location, the community is open to a wide range of people. In fact, the Dancing Rabbit community has 20 children.
Although the community has a small population, it is actively expanding. In the future, the Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage will house up to 1,000 people.
